Village Agent
What does it do?
For those in rural areas, our Village Agent volunteers help people find the information and support they need to stay living safely and independently. A Village Agent can provide information on a range of topics such as finding help to manage the home, social activities locally or what government help someone may be eligible for.
When appropriate, Village Agents can also provide a bit of tailored support to help a person to get connected to the service they need. This may be making a phone call or filling in a form on their behalf or making first introductions to a group.
